We had a lovely time in the woods with the Joyce family last weekend. We did a family photoshoot in Micheldever Woods and it was wonderful! The bluebells are just about gone now (boooo) so we did not focus on any bluebell pictures. However, all is not lost as there is so much else that is fun and photo worthy in the woods!
We know the Joyce’s as they live locally to us. We met up in the carpark at the woods and this is a rare shoot that James and I ‘shared’ as we took our daughter Chloe along for a run around too. We started off with a little play as we walked through the woods. We made sure we took lots of photos of them together all four of them, as well as individual shots. The two boys are less than 2 years apart, and we were pleased to get some beautiful photos of the two of them together without mum and dad in the frame!
We enjoyed climbing on logs, walking through the undergrowth, playing in the little wooden house, finding the biggest stick we could see, jumping high in the air, hiding behind trees and generally just running around.
It was an interesting one as Hampshire Constabulary were there training their police dogs, so every now and then we came across a dog handler hiding behind a tree with a dog toy!
I hope you enjoy these photos and see what kind of photos you can get simply from a play in the woods.
