We were delighted to do a family photoshoot of this gorgeous family at the weekend in Winchester at the Abbey Gardens.
We had initially chosen to go to River Park Leisure Centre in Winchester to do our family photoshoot while feeding the ducks, this little girl’s favourite past time. However, upon learning that it was the site of the latest Park Run we made a sudden change of plan, and moved to the Abbey Gardens in Winchester. I’d say this was perhaps one of the more public places we’ve done a family photoshoot in recently, and certainly brought some new challenges to it, such as members of the public in the background of our photos, and copious numbers of Winchester City Council bins!
There was plenty in the park to keep us entertained. We made use of the benches, the sun dial, lovely backdrop of the Abbey House, and Winchester Cathedral in the backdrop.
We were really pleased with these photos – they capture a very special time as Mummy is 8.5 months pregnant with baby no. 2 and ready to pop. We loved it when we were able to capture the curious patting of mummy’s tummy by our young model. We are even in discussion with our lovely family about being the official photographers for the Christening of baby no. 2 . How exciting!
