We had an amazing time at the wedding of Kirstie and Matt in April who were married at Rugby School in Warwickshire on a sunny Saturday with friends and family in attendance.
For us, it was a family wedding, so we were not in charge of official wedding photography, but naturally we could not resist taking lots and lots of pictures anyway! We thought you might like to see a sample of some of the pictures from the morning of the wedding, with the bride, her mum and the bridesmaids getting ready together.
I love these photos, capturing the excitement and preparation before the main event.
The hair was fantastic and done by Adele (I must get her number..). the suits were courtesy of Salters of Rugby and the bridal gown and bridesmaid dresses were made by Sue Jones.
Rugby School provides the perfect backdrop for a wedding, situated bang smack in the middle of Rugby town centre. The beautiful, historic buildings, where centuries of children have been schooled, are quite breath taking, and it is one of the oldest schools in Britain today, being founded in 1567, and also recognised as the birth place of the game of Rugby.
It was amazing to sit in the chapel awaiting the arrival of the bride, and taking in the impressive stained glass windows. The guests enjoyed drinks and ice creams out in the courtyards after the ceremony, before heading into a delicious meal & speeches.
