On a sunny Sunday morning I ventured across to neighbouring village Easton to meet the Woods family for a family photoshoot. The family were having a big get together, involving grandma, grandpa, 2 sons and their wives, and four grandchildren, as well as Great Aunts and Great Uncles too. It was made even more special as one of the branches of the family live in Australia and were over for a few weeks before heading back down under.
We gathered in the garden of Grandma and Grandpa and spent a fun time running around the garden after the children, taking lots of photographs, and generally capturing the fun characters of this family. I was in admiration of the flowers on display in the garden – Grandma was a very keen gardener! It was a lot of fun to capture the dynamics of the different parts of the family. I also thought Grandma and Grandpa were the sweetest couple, with Grandma about to celebrate her 70th Birthday that week.
This photoshoot is a great example of what can be achieved in a fairly small area and in a limited amount of time. We stayed in the garden and used different parts of the garden to achieve a different feel to the photographs.
I particularly enjoyed taking photographs of the four cousins who were all close in age to one another and got on like a house on fire.
I left feeling part of the family already, and with the promise of booking me again at their next family reunion. Thank you for booking Worthy Photography !
